NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 28, 2024) - Country Music duo and singer-songwriters, the Hutcheson Brothers, comprised of Brandon and Jon Hutcheson, were awarded the Country Duo/Group Album of the Year at the 10th Annual Josie Music Awards Sunday evening, October 27, for their album, 'Behind The Levee'. The event was held at the legendary Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.

Accepting the award on behalf of the duo was older brother Brandon, who received the honor while standing in the treasured Opry Circle, where numerous country music legends have stood over the Opry's nearly 100-year existence.

"We just really appreciate everyone with the JMAs for this honor," says Jon and Brandon. "For those who may not know, the album title 'Behind The Levee' comes from a line of one of our songs, 'Mississippi River Town', a song about growing up in northwest Tennessee, specifically Lake County, which sits right along the Mississippi River. 'Behind The Levee' is a reflection of our home, family, friends - our roots. It's us put to music."

Of the 8 songs on 'Behind The Levee', the Hutcheson Brothers wrote or co-wrote 5 tracks, however, the Hutcheson Brothers would like to thank all the songwriters who contributed to making 'Behind The Levee' come together.

"We are thankful to those songwriters who pitched their songs, co-wrote with us, and gave us their blessings to cut their creations, including Corey Lee Barker, Patrick O'Connor, Justin Love, Shawn Sackman, the guys from 3 Doors Down (Brad Arnold, Todd Harrell, Matt Roberts), and our buddy Clyde Cagle. We are also thankful for all of the musicians who made every song on 'Behind The Levee' come to life."
