ABOUT DAMN DALLAS:

On July 24, 2025, the Hutcheson Brothers released their newest single, Damn Dallas - a country-rock, red dirt anthem inspired while on their first Texas tour. Written in a Houston hotel room and recorded at the award-winning Rosewood Studios in Tyler, TX, the song captures the raw emotion and restless spirit of lost love and the Lone Star State. A music video, directed by R. Alan Ingalls is scheduled to be released in August.

"We wrote this song in January 2023 in a hotel room in Houston, Texas after a show," said the brothers. "We had spent a few days in Dallas earlier, and the title of 'Damn Dallas' just came up through conversation. After about 15 or 20 minutes of writing, the song was completed."

Throughout their 2024 tour dates, the Hutcheson Brothers worked Damn Dallas into their set list, and the song instantly became a crowd favorite.

"No matter where we were, night after night, we had people coming up to us and saying how much they liked the song - that it was getting stuck in their heads. They kept asking where they could stream it."

In late 2024, Jon and Brandon took Damn Dallas to the award-winning Rosewood Studios in Tyler, Texas to begin the recording process.

"From the time we wrote Damn Dallas to the time we were recording it, we had played multiple shows in Texas and out west. We really like the music scene in Texas and Oklahoma, and that red dirt sound has really grown on us. Damn Dallas was written in Texas, inspired by Texas, and there wasn't any doubt that we wanted to record this song in Texas. The guys at Rosewood Studios knocked it out of the park, and we hope our listeners enjoy Damn Dallas."

ABOUT THE MUSIC VIDEO:

On August 14, 2025, three weeks after the release of their latest single, Damn Dallas, the Hutcheson Brothers followed up with the release of an accompanying music video. The music video was directed by R. Alan Ingalls, who had previously worked with Jon and Brandon on multiple video projects, including the duo's debut music video (Sip Happens).

"Before we even finished with tracking at Rosewood (Studios), we knew this was going to be a song we would have to film a video for," said the brothers. "The song itself has a different feel than anything we've ever recorded, and we knew we wanted to capture that vibe on film."

So how do you take the subject of anger and heartbreak and not tell the 'same old story' on film?

"You have to think crazy and outside the box," said Jon. "We brought a lot of different, off-the-wall ideas to the table for this video, and with Alan's guidance and expertise, made this into a four-and-a-half minute mini movie. This is, by far, the craziest thing we have ever done."

The Damn Dallas music video was shot across several locations, including Hale's Water N Hole, the local oasis in the brothers' hometown of Ridgely, Tenn.

"Major thanks to everyone who let us come film at or on their property, especially Scottie and Jessica with Hale's Water N Hole in Ridgely," said Brandon. "From the very beginning, they have treated us like family, and we are appreciative of that - and of their hospitality. And not just from them, from their regulars, too! Many of them are in the video as well."

Jon & Brandon would like to thank:

The Good Lord because without Him, nothing is possible.

Kerri & Alana:
You two put up a lot, and we don't make it any easier traveling across the country. We're lucky to have both of you as our better halves and our biggest cheerleaders. You never complain, and you keep encouraging us. You're our rocks and have been on this ride with us from the very beginning. We love you both!

Whitley Jane & Anna Kate:
You two have breathed new life into us (and we haven't even met you yet, AK). You have given us a new drive and a renewed focus and we hope one day that we can be successful enough to give you everything you could ever want. Most of all, we hope that you can one day look back and proud of the music Daddy and Uncle Bubba make. We love you.

Mom & Dad:
This music dream started with the two of you, and it has grown into what it is now because of you. Wherever it goes, it will have your fingerprints all over it. We could never repay you two enough for all the sacrifices you've made over the years for us and our music. And Dad, thanks for not flipping out about us writing and releasing a song with 'damn' in the title!

Rosewood Studios:
Thank you, Kerry, Drew, and all the pickers who helped make Damn Dallas a reality. You captured everything we were hoping for! We appreciate your hard work and professionalism. We can't wait to come back down to Texas and cut more songs with you guys!

R. Alan Ingalls:
Alan, when people see the music video for Damn Dallas they are going to freak out! Thank you for bringing your expertise to the table, taking some of our ideas, and creating something we didn't even know was achievable. We can't thank you enough for your hard work and dedication.

Scottie & Jessica Hale and all of the Hale's Water N Hole regulars:
Scottie and Jess, thank y'all for opening your establishment for us to come and shoot the music video. It meant more than you will ever know. We appreciate you two and all of the Hale's regulars who treat us like we're somebody every time we're there. We hope this video makes you all proud. And Tony - you ARE one bad you-know-what!

Wyatt, Diane, and Mark:
Texas has given us two things: the birth of Damn Dallas and the forever friendship with you guys. Thank you for being some of our biggest cheerleaders. Wyatt, we thank you for being our friend (even though you dance better than both of us!). We love you guys!

Diezel & Sadie:
We couldn't leave you two out! Thanks for sending (Uncle) Hutch all the texts and just being excited about all the music. Keep working hard and pursuing your dreams.
We love you.

Our 'Home Folks':
This is for our friends, extended family, and supporters - no matter if you've been with us from the first gigs to now, THANK YOU! We really appreciate you all coming to shows, sharing posts, and just spreading the word about us and our music. We couldn't do this without you. YOU are a driving force of what we do!

Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys:
First off, we're fans - BIG FANS. LIFELONG FANS. We didn't write this song because of you. Please don't give us a reason to say 'Damn Dallas' this year and direct it at you.
