Brandon Named On NSAI's 'Ones To Watch' List

Brandon Hutcheson, the older brother in the Hutcheson Brothers duo, was recently named on the 'Ones To Watch' list by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) for February 2023.  According to NSAI, songwriters with this distinction are recognized as writers on the rise.

"Songwriting is where most of my heart is at musically," said Brandon.  "I love to create.  I am proud of this honor, but if it wasn't for the talented people I've had the pleasure to co-write with, especially with Jon, I doubt something like this would have ever happened.  They push me and encourage me to improve and pull my weight, but most of all I appreciate their willingness to work with me and for their support."

This marks Brandon's third time selected as 'Ones To Watch'.

Hutcheson Brothers Appear On Garth Brooks' Inside Studio G
Perform 'Trashy Women' With Confederate Railroad

The Hutcheson Brothers were paired with some major star power, as they were present on an episode of Inside Studio G with Garth Brooks and were invited to perform Confederate Railroad's hit 'Trashy Women' with the band themselves.

The brothers appeared on the weekly Facebook Live show, Inside Studio G, hosted by country music superstar, Garth Brooks.  Below, watch a clip from the show where the guys perform a piece of Brooks' debut single, 'Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old)' and ask of the status of Brooks' long-awaited Lower Broadway honky-tonk and bar in Nashville.

Following their performance at the Magic Valley Music Fest, held at Birdsong Drive-In in Camden, Tenn. on October 21, 2022, Confederate Railroad front man Danny Shirley invited the Brothers to sing 'Trashy Women', the band's Top 10 Billboard hit song.

On The Road! Hello Nebraska, Iowa & Texas!

Summer of 2022 and Winter of 2023 were reserved for 'firsts' for the Hutcheson Brothers, as they performed shows in the states of Nebraska and Iowa (June 17-18, 2022) as well as Texas (January 6-7, 2023).

Speaking on their shows at Rosie's Downtown in Lincoln, NE and Beer Can Alley in Sioux City, IA, the guys said, "We really didn't know what to expect, but after those two nights, we hope to have many more there. Everyone at Rosie's and BCA were very hospitable and super friendly.  The crowds blew us away - they came to sing, dance, and have a great time! They know their country music, and we can't wait to go back!

The guys kicked off their 2023 deep in the heart of Texas - The Woodlands (Houston) to be exact!  January 6 had the guys performing at the Dosey Doe BBQ & Whiskey Bar, and on January 7, they performed at The Dosey Doe Big Barn as the opener for Casey Chesnutt, son of Mark Chesnutt.

"When you leave Tennessee and the Mid-South, it's uncertain what a new audience might like.  What we can say about Texas is they know how to have a good time! The Dosey Doe staff was very friendly and hospitable, and the audience both nights sang along and treated our music like it was something they have heard for years. Tennessee may have our hearts, but Texas has definitely stolen our souls! We're chomping at the bit to get back down there!"

Hutcheson Brothers Open For Country Legend, Grand Ole Opry Member Gene Watson
