ABOUT THE HUTCHESON BROTHERS
Award-winning singer-songwriters and musicians Jon and Brandon Hutcheson—known as The Hutcheson Brothers—are making waves in the country music scene with their heartfelt lyrics, electrifying performances, and authentic Southern sound. Hailing from Lake County, Tennessee, the brothers blend modern country with a gritty red dirt edge, rooted deeply in their small-town upbringing and musical heritage.
The Hutcheson Brothers burst onto the national radar with the release of their debut studio album, Behind The Levee, in June 2023. The album features standout singles like Sip Happens—which climbed to #49 on the Nashville CDX True Indie Chart and landed among the Top 250 Indie Country Songs of 2023—and She Don’t Know She’s Lonely, alongside fan favorites like Searchin’ and an acoustic take on 3 Doors Down’s Kryptonite. The project earned them the 2024 Josie Music Award for Modern Country Duo Album of the Year.
Music runs in their blood. Their mother, Lorie Hutcheson, is a charting country gospel artist, and their great uncle, Buck Hutcheson, was a longtime guitarist for Rock & Roll and Country Music Hall of Fame legend Jerry Lee Lewis. Drawing inspiration from country greats like Garth Brooks and Merle Haggard, as well as modern trailblazers like Koe Wetzel and Keith Urban, the brothers forge a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh.
Their high-energy live shows have taken them across the country to stages at the CMA Fest, the NFL Draft, and Nashville’s iconic Bluebird Café. They’ve shared the spotlight with acts including Parker McCollum, Shenandoah, T. Graham Brown, Buddy Jewell, Confederate Railroad, The Artimus Pyle Band (Lynyrd Skynyrd), and Hayden Baker. The brothers have also been featured on high-profile platforms like Inside Studio G with Garth Brooks.
With over 60 nominations from independent country music awards and multiple wins at the 2023 and 2024 Josie Music Awards, The Hutcheson Brothers continue to cement their place in the genre. They’ve been recognized three times as Ones To Watch by the Nashville Songwriters Association International and were finalists in The Rolling Stone’s 2024 America’s Next Top Hitmaker competition.
In July 2025, the duo released their newest single, Damn Dallas—a country-rock, red dirt anthem inspired while on their first Texas tour. Recorded at Rosewood Studios in Tyler, TX, and written in a Houston hotel room, the song captures the raw emotion and restless spirit of lost love and the Lone Star State. A music video was released on YouTube and Facebook on August 14, 2025.
